Haverfordwest High VC School is seeking to appoint an inspirational, dynamic and creative Teacher of Design and Technology who possesses a commitment to helping students achieve their potential. We are seeking a candidate who has high expectations of themselves and of others. The post will involve the teaching of KS3 metal work, wood work and graphics, along with KS4 options including Construction, Engineering and Product Design. We also offer Product design at A level. The successful candidate should have a good background and evidence in both practical and design work and will join a cohesive team who work collaboratively to deliver high quality inspiring lessons for all our pupils. Our new school is a fantastic learning environment in which to work in which provides top class facilities for pupils and the community.

We are looking for a candidate who has a relevant educational background with evidence of Professional Learning, excellent interpersonal skills, a motivated team player with a 'can do' solution focused attitude who possesses outstanding communication skills and personal integrity.

Our state of the art purpose built Design and Technology department includes an Engineering suite and three well equipped general purpose Design & Technology classes and two Food Technology rooms. The department has multiple 3D printers, two laser cutters with a well equipped prep-room and separate IT suite complete with Adobe Creative and OnShape software. Links with local and national industries enhance our curriculum offer.
