Job Description
We're seeking a Casual Lifeguard to join us at Portfield School, where you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining safety and cleanliness standards while ensuring maximum enjoyment for our users. Your primary responsibility involves supervising swimmers, responding to emergencies, and maintaining hygiene in the pool area and surroundings. Flexibility is key, as you'll undertake various maintenance tasks and respond to customer inquiries daily. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with customers, supervisors, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative team environment.
You'll primarily work indoors and occasionally outdoors, with shifts varying based on our rotational schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends. Essential qualifications include a current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, previous relevant experience, and certification in first aid. Basic computer skills and willingness to undergo a DBS check are also required. Welsh language skills are desirable.
