Following a very successful Estyn inspection in October 2022, the team stated - This is a faith school that cares deeply for its school community. The high-quality support and guidance provided by the staff and leaders is a strong feature of the school. As our school continues to move forward the Governing Body is seeking to appoint a motivated individual who leads through example and has the ideas and energy to build on the ethos and successes of our Catholic community focussed school.
Application closing date: Tuesday 23 April 2024 at 12 noon
Shortlisting: TBC after the above closing date
Interviews to be held: Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 April 2024

• Are you a committed practising Catholic who will cherish and support the Catholic ethos of our school; someone who has Gospel values at the heart of everything you do?
• Are you highly motivated, with proven leadership skills and successful experiences of school improvement and change?
• Are you able to translate the Curriculum for Wales into engaging teaching and learning at our school?
• Do you have the passion, vision and drive to be the next Headteacher of our school - St Helen's Catholic Primary School?
On behalf of our children, the Governing Body of St Helen's are seeking to appoint a Headteacher who answers yes to each of these questions and who will be the best leader to further the achievements of our happy, caring and successful school.
