An exciting challenging and unique opportunity has arisen at the site of Clwyd Community Primary School and Swansea Children's Centre. We are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Senior Childcare Worker to work alongside the manager and support the operation of a large Flying Start setting based with Swansea Children's Centre. You will be expected to work to the site and Flying Start ethos of giving every child the best possible start in life.
Flying Start is a Welsh Government initiative, which seeks to target support for pre-school children and their families within specific areas, and to deliver specific outcomes for children. Flying Start offers children access to high quality childcare as part of a multi-agency team approach.
As a Senior Childcare Worker, you will be required to have experience of working in a variety of childcare settings, lots of enthusiasm and a passion to support children and families living in areas of deprivation. There is also an expectation that you will support the activities running with the Children's Centre.
