Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Monitoring and Compliance Officer to join the Caerphilly Adult Community Learning team to monitor and develop comprehensive administrative systems to maintain the effectiveness and compliance of the Multiply Programme delivery.

‘Through the Multiply programme, the UK Government is investing over £100m into Wales to help transform the lives of adults across Wales by improving their functional numeracy skills through free personal tutoring, digital training, and flexible courses.’

The Multiply initiative will deliver high quality, innovative numeracy interventions that meet the needs of local people and the national aims for Multiply.

For this role we ask that you demonstrate how you meet the essential criteria detailed in the application.

The Monitoring and Compliance Officer will complete and review local performance and monitoring requirements, monitor the implementation of the Multiply project team protocols, use monitoring systems to meet the qualitative and quantitative data reporting requirements and ensure compliance with eligibility rules and conditions, assist with the preparation of reports and submit quarterly claims and collate information for annual audits, support the Finance Officer to ensure project financial compliance in accordance with the

requirements of the UK Government, and Caerphilly County Borough Council, line management of the administration team.

The Administration and Accreditations Officer will have experience of working in an office environment, line management, Caerphilly County Borough Council’s financial systems, collecting data/information to meet stringent project controls, providing monitoring and compliance service in a project context, planning and managing tasks, keeping accurate, up to date and easily accessible electronic and paper-based files, word processing/desk top publishing, dealing with complex enquires and resolving issues, monitoring spend, preparing and presenting monitoring and compliance reports at meetings.
