ESOL Trainer

We can offer a range of professional develop opportunities such as full company induction, legislative training packages, IEP Level 2 sector qualification and on-going coaching / mentoring.
Salary Banding: £23,000
Base: Covering South Wales
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm
What are the core responsibilities of this role?
Accountable for delivering ESOL training which engages, motivates and upskills participants.
Accountable for helping participants identify barriers to work and set out steps required to overcome them
Responsible for assessing all participants on programme, using ESOL assessments, recording the findings on Case Management system
Responsible for producing a lesson plan for each taught session incorporating topics relating to whole class teaching, individual, paired, group and differentiated activities
Accountable for delivering taught sessions which include direct teaching and the use of a variety of teaching strategies/ methodologies
Responsible for supporting participants learning by the use of ICT
What skills and experience are we looking for from potential applicants?
Essential
· ESOL qualification or equivalent
· Experience of working with unemployed adults
· Full driving licence
This role is subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the company.
