Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Bryniago: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Ysgol Bryniago is a Welsh-medium primary school. It serves the town of Pontarddulais and the villages of Garnswllt, Pontlliw and Waungron. It caters for pupils aged between 3- 11 years.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and dedicated assistants. The successful candidate is expected to have the Welsh language and be ready to work as part of the school team.

We invite applications from enthusiastic, committed and energetic individuals to take on the role of a Level 3 Learning Assistant in our school.

The role will include:

• Supporting learners aged 3-7 across the curriculum
• Work closely with teachers and other team members
• Contribute to delivering high quality learning experiences
• Accept class responsibility at certain times
• Supporting pupils' well-being, development and progress

As Bryniago is a Welsh school, excellent spoken and written Welsh skills are essential for this post.

We are looking for someone who:

• Have excellent interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic and able to inspire young learners
• Have the ability to work effectively as part of a professional team
• Confident in communicating through the medium of Welsh
• Ready to contribute positively to the ethos and life of the school
