Our school is home to a large, successful and dynamic Early Years Unit, where learning is authentic and play-based, responsive to the needs of our children and driven by the 'Three Enablers' - enabling adults, engaging experiences and effective environments.
The Role:
We are seeking an outstanding Early Years practitioner to join our team. This role requires a teacher who is passionate about play-based pedagogy and has a deep understanding of the Three Enablers.
You will play a key role in shaping high-quality provision within a dynamic, complex and rewarding Early Years setting.
This post is temporary in the first instance, with the vision of a permanent contract following the first year if possible.

- Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a strong Early Years background or a passion for early childhood development
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of play-based learning and child-centred pedagogy
- Have a secure knowledge of the Three Enablers and how these translate into high-quality provision
- Be innovative, reflective and adaptable within a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Place pupil wellbeing, inclusion and equity at the heart of their practice
- Be committed to supporting children with a wide range of needs, including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team ethos
