We are seeking an inspirational Deputy Headteacher who will play a central role in shaping the next phase of our school's journey, working closely with the headteacher, senior leadership team, staff, governors, and wider community to ensure the very best outcomes for all pupils.
This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who is passionate about primary education, committed to inclusive practice, and ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our children.

The successful candidate will:
  • Provide strategic leadership for teaching, learning and curriculum coherence, ensuring high expectations and strong outcomes for all learners
  • Lead robust quality assurance and self-evaluation, using evidence to celebrate strengths and drive continuous improvement
  • Support and challenge staff through effective professional learning, coaching and development, contributing to a reflective and aspirational community culture
  • Contribute to inclusive leadership, ensuring that wellbeing, equity, safeguarding and support for learners with additional learning needs are embedded consistently across school life
  • Work in genuine partnership with the Headteacher, sharing leadership responsibility and contributing to whole-school decision-making
  • Demonstrate the judgement, credibility and leadership presence to deputise when required.

  • Is committed to Welsh language development across the school.
  • Can play a key role in driving forward whole-school priorities, including curriculum innovation, independence in learning, Welsh language development, and meaningful pupil voice.
  • Leads by example and can inspire staff and pupils through creativity, passion, and integrity.
  • Has a commitment to high quality staff development and will work collaboratively with our skilled staff in an environment where distributed leadership, coaching and mentoring are highly valued.
