The role:

As a Campus Engagement Assistant, your core purpose is to create a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging student culture by actively supporting, promoting, and delivering enrichment activities, clubs, and societies. You will act as a visible and approachable presence across student spaces, helping to foster a positive environment that promotes wellbeing, encourages participation, and builds a strong sense belonging to an inclusive college community.
  • Full time - 37 Hours per week
  • Term Time - 37 Weeks per annum
  • Fixed Term until July 5th 2026

  • £12.80 - £13.07 per hour (£20,276.33 - £20,708.28 Per Annum)

  • Tycoch and Gorseinon campuses
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a platform for student feedback on the use and improvement of student areas and enrichment opportunities.
  • Be a first responder to incidents or reports of conflict, using de-escalation and restorative approaches.
  • Help students develop a sense of belonging by encouraging inclusive and representative activities across campuses.
About you:
  • GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent in Maths and English qualification.
  • Experience working with students or young people in an educational or youth/community setting
  • Experience of admin and accurate record keeping.
