Sea View Community Primary School is a vibrant, happy, welcoming and fully inclusive school situated in Mayhill, Swansea, with a very committed staff and Governing Body. We are proud of our achievements to date and are seeking to continue to build on and improve these in the coming years.

The post requires:-

• An excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations and a sound knowledge of teaching and learning pedagogy, philosophy and how children learn
• A firm understanding of how to develop learning focused lessons/activities which have assessment for learning at the centre
• A good motivator, who can inspire, support and challenge pupils whilst working well as part of our team
• ICT competency in order to deliver the curriculum using the latest technology
• An ability to lead initiatives and developments
• Possess excellent inter-personal skills
• A clear understanding of inclusion
• Someone organised and motivated
• An innovative person who makes contributions to whole school improvement
• The ability to lead and work as part of a team
• An understanding of the role parents play in the education partnership
