- An excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations and a sound knowledge of teaching and learning pedagogy, philosophy and how children learn
- A firm understanding of how to develop learning focused lessons/activities which have assessment for learning at the centre
- A good motivator, who can inspire, support and challenge pupils whilst working well as part of our team
- ICT competency in order to deliver the curriculum using the latest technology
- An ability to lead initiatives and developments
- Possess excellent inter-personal skills
- A clear understanding of inclusion
- Someone organised and motivated
- An innovative person who makes contributions to whole school improvement
- The ability to lead and work as part of a team
- An understanding of the role parents play in the education partnership
