The children, staff and Governing Body of Monnow Primary school are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative teacher with a passion for making a difference where upon they are a creative practitioner and is committed to children's learning, wellbeing and the raising of standards.

Monnow Primary School is in the heart of Bettws and as a community school we are dedicated to making a positive difference for our learners and their families, with ‘Cynefin’, Curiosity and Courage being central to our core vision and values.

You will be required to take up post from September 2025. As a growing school, the appointment is for a fixed term of 1 year in the first instance.

- A clear understanding of skills based curriculum, in particular the Literacy and Numeracy Framework.
- The ability to teach Welsh as a second language.
- The ability to contribute to the development and improvement of the school as a whole.
- Expertise in digital learning.
- The ability to develop children to be reflective learners.
- A good understanding of curriculum for wales, promoting authentic, meaningful learning experiences
