The Governors of Glan Usk Primary School are seeking to appoint an innovative and inspirational Headteacher who is an outstanding practitioner. The successful candidate will be committed to education and teaching of the highest standing to further the success of this outstanding Primary school and ensure that the school provides the best opportunities for all children.
Governors are committed to appointing a Headteacher who:
- Will use creative and innovative approaches to further the current success of the school
- Can provide clear, inspirational, ideas for raising educational standards in all departments of the school
- Has the vision for further development to achieve a consistently high performance
- Possesses excellent leadership, management, communication and personal skills
- Has the ability to promote effective teamwork
- Has a proven track record of raising standards and successfully leading whole school initiatives
- Will promote values that maintain a disciplined, orderly school with a caring ethos
- Will be committed to engaging well with the wider school community
- Will lead with diversity and inclusion at the forefront of all that they do
Governors will support the successful candidate in all aspects of school life thereby creating a practice of effective learning and development throughout the school and its community.
