The role:
Leading on all aspects of the Additional Learning Needs (ALN) agenda on behalf of the College, you will be for implementing the ALN Code of Practice and associated legislation.
- 37 Hours Per Week
- Permanent
- £55,250 - £60,000 Per Annum
- Leading the central ALN/Neurodiversity team ensuring students receive an outstanding student experience
- To Implement an ALN strategy (FE, HE and Work Based Learning) in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
- Acting as operational ALNCo for the College reporting into the Vice Principal for Learner Experience and Inclusion for statutory compliance.
- To Identify and monitor resource requirements to maintain and improve ALN support across the College
- Registered FE teacher
- Recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
- Experience of supporting learners with a range of additional learning and neurodiversity needs
- Experience of leading teams who support learners
- Collaborative team worker
- 37 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, and the college is closed for two weeks over the Christmas period
- A Local Government Pension Scheme or Teacher's Pension Scheme with an average employer contribution of 21%
