Mount Pleasant Primary School is seeking to appoint an administrator to join the school team. The successful candidate will work with all staff at our happy, friendly and inclusive school to provide high quality administrative support for staff, governors, parents and pupils.

The successful candidate will need to be approachable, enthusiastic and professional with a good work ethic. There is the expectation that you are diligent and pay attention to detail. You will enjoy interacting with students, staff and members of our school community. You will need to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility is key. Confidentiality and knowledge of GDPR regulations is essential .

The role requires supporting not only with administrative tasks such as parent pay but also with health and safety, first aid, yard and dinner duties and being the face of the school. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and digital skills including HWB.

The appointment is a permanent position working 9.00am - 1.00pm x 5 days per week.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

- The ability to work as part of a team
- An adaptable, flexible, patient and professional approach to their role
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High standards of numeracy and literacy
- Experience working with MS Word, Excel, Google docs, HWB and Outlook
- SIMS experience is also desirable
- The ability to use their own initiative
- An excellent understanding of safeguarding principles
- Able to use ParentPay

Candidates will be shortlisted and invited for an interview and a short 20 minutes task.
