22 Hrs Per Week, 39 Weeks Per Year
An opportunity has arisen to join this successful, thriving 11-18 mixed comprehensive school in which pupils have very positive attitudes towards their learning and are supported fully in all aspects of wellbeing. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional candidate who will work within a busy admin office.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake the duties and responsibilities of the School Support Officer, under the direction of the Headteacher’s PA. The main responsibilities of this post will include reception duties, communications and general admin. The successful applicant will also be required to support the School Medical Officer with administering first aid (training can be provided). Experience of school based electronic systems would be beneficial i.e. Sims. The ability to work under pressure is essential.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team and a representative from the Governing body.
