About the role
Our Trainee Assessors provide end to end structured support to our apprenticeship learners on programme. They ensure the most effective and up-to-date approaches are implemented to prepare learners to successfully progress in their Health and Social Care qualification.
Our apprenticeship program provides learners with hands-on training and theoretical knowledge in working with Children and Young People, equipping them with essential skills for a successful career in the industry.
Your impact
• Ensure the highest training standards by tailoring approaches to meet learners' needs.
• Cover a designated regional area, traveling to learners' workplaces for assessments and support.
• Develop and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) to outline personalised learning pathways.
• Reference and evaluate workplace evidence to satisfy key skill and competency requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and guided contact hours, ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory standards.
• Support the planning, monitoring, and achievement of established performance targets.
• Facilitate additional training opportunities, including day release sessions, and provide in-house training support as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of learner achievements, ensuring alignment with the performance criteria of relevant awarding bodies.

What are we looking for?
Essential
• Proven occupational experience and technical competence in Children and Young People sector
• Children and Young People qualification or equivalent.
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration.
• Welsh speaking is desirable.
