Blaenymaes Primary school is a thriving, happy, welcoming and inclusive school. We are seeking to appoint a part time Teaching Assistant with British Sign Language Level 2/3, as soon as possible, providing 1:1 support for one of our nursery pupils.

We are seeking a BSL communicator who:
  • Is able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Has excellent communication skills and is committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
  • Has some experience of working in schools and in delivering high quality teaching and learning.
  • Can enthuse, motivate and engage children.
  • Is committed to high standards and is willing to help develop high quality learning experiences.
  • Will be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community.
  • Has experience of working with children with a range of additional learning needs.

Please note, this is a term-time only contract, temporary and part time.
