The Governing Body of Malpas Court Primary School is looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistants on a fixed term basis (September 2024 to August 2025).

The individual appointed will be required to work Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours a week as a general classroom assistant with the potential for 1:1 support. The positions will be primarily based within Early Years however, as with all teaching assistant roles, there may be occasions when the person appointed will be required to support throughout the whole primary phase.

Thrive training, ELSA training and strong IT skills are desirable.

The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team. The Governing Body and Local Authority are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
