Grade 5 - £24,294 for 37 hours per week term time only for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £21,339.95 pro rata rising to 46.8 weeks, £21,805.89 pro rata per annum after 5 year's service.


We are looking for a School First Aid and Healthcare Coordinator, ideally with nursing experience, who will support the school in its responsibility to provide a safe and secure environment for learners and staff.

The successful candidates will:

  • Be the principal provider of all first aid support during the school day and for extracurricular activities as necessary and as directed.
  • Respond promptly to requests for first aid support across the School campus, including Main School, The Henry Tudor Community Learning Centre, The Phoenix Centre and all external sports pitches.
  • Assist with learner medical and welfare needs, ensuring clear and effective communication is established and maintained with parents and staff as necessary.
  • Responsible for the daily administration of medicines to learners/staff, ensuring accurate record keeping is completed.
  • Work in conjunction with ALN staff to ensure Health Care Plans are written and kept up to date and distributed as necessary to the relevant staff/agencies.
  • Be responsible for the creation of all health related Risk Assessments for learners and staff.
  • Coordinate the delivery of school based vaccination programmes in conjunction with appropriate external agencies.
