GRADE 3/ LEVEL 2 SCHOOL SUPPORT OFFICER – ADMINISTRATION AND ORGANISATION.

FROM 1ST SEPTEMBER 2024 – 39 WEEKS
35 HOURS 45 MINS PER WEEK

The Head teacher and governing body are looking for a highly motivated, friendly and enthusiastic school support officer to work in partnership with the school community.

The successful candidate will be able to work calmly under pressure, developing and nurturing relationships with all of our stakeholders. You will be the first point of contact for parents, children and visitors entering or telephoning the school and it is essential that you have a calm, friendly manner and enjoy working with both adults and children and possess excellent communication skills.

You will be required to:

- Maintain manual and computerised record / information systems
- Undertake typing, word processing and other IT based tasks
- Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school
- Undertake financial administration procedures

Holidays must be taken during school closure periods.

The hours are worked out as:
Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 4.15pm
Friday 8.30 to 3.45pm
