The role:

The post involves reviewing progress of Accountancy learners upon their apprenticeship programme. The postholder will have a professional approach and be able to effectively organise and communicate with key employers, learners and Accountancy lecturing team having current knowledge of the industry and be able to undertake duties to a high standard.
  • Part time (18.5 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out timely and regular progress reviews with learners, monitoring their attendance and progress against targets upon their apprenticeship programme.
  • Reporting and coordinating the communication of learner progress between the Accountancy team, the apprentice and their employer.
  • Work with external employers to maintain and develop professional relationships ensuring that our Accountancy provision meets their training needs within the apprenticeship.
About you:
  • Level 2 (Grade A-C) or equivalent Maths and English qualification
  • Commercial knowledge, experience and understanding of industry, including training needs.
  • Prepared to visit employers over a wide geographical area
