We are seeking a qualified and experienced practitioner to work as part of the Minority Ethnic and Multilingual Learner team based within the School Improvement section of the Education Directorate. The ideal candidate will work as part of a well-established team to support primary schools in further developing and improving their provision for multilingual and minority ethnic learners.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills with a drive for raising standards for these learners. You will be a qualified teacher with extensive, up-to-date knowledge and experience in the field of English as an Additional Language (EAL), multilingualism and minority ethnic achievement. Building strong working relationships and being able to offer tailored advice and guidance to schools should be among your strengths.

This is a full-time (37 hours) grant funded post. Reviewed annually.

The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
