The role:

Assisting in all food preparation, cooking and serving of meals, and provide cover on other College sites as required.
  • Full time (37 hours per week)
  • Term time (36 weeks per year: 34 weeks during term, plus 2 weeks outside of term)
  • Permanent
  • £18,698 - £19,097 per annum (£12.13 - £12.39 per hour)
  • Gorseinon Campus, Swansea
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Cook with day to day food production in line with daily menu requirements, nutritional & allergen guidelines, following food hygiene regulations and ensuring high standards of presentation
  • To cook and serve breakfast
  • Assist with the organization and setting up of Servery counter and service of food whilst practicing portion controls as per guidelines
  • To assist in the cleaning of the kitchen and associated areas
About you:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2
  • Experience in the food industry cooking for small numbers, or assisting in a larger outlet
  • Honest & reliable
  • Excellent standards of food hygiene
