Duration of contract 27.5 hours secondment opportunity unitl 31/08/2026 /Mobile Hybrid Worker
We are looking to second a highly effective practitioner to the School Improvement Team to work alongside the Education Support Officer (ESO) and Teacher Development Officer (TDO) with responsibility for Teaching and Learning to deliver the NPT Teaching and Learning Programme.
The secondee will receive professional learning in pedagogical approaches which will enable them to deliver a series of training sessions and support participants to evolve their practice in their own school.
Throughout the secondment the successful applicant will be deepening their understanding of, Curriculum for Wales with an emphasis on pupil progression, inclusion and supporting all learners to develop the Four Purposes. The Successful applicant will also have opportunities to engage with different research related to child development, learning strategies and their impact, enabling adults and effective learning environments.
The successful applicant will collaborate with networks of 10-15 teachers enabling them to become a self-sustaining group/network. The secondee will coach, model, support, evaluate, advise and co-construct with these networks. They will facilitate sharing and contribute to the whole LA evaluation of progress.
The post requires suitably qualified and experienced teachers.
