Apprenticeship Group Trainer
Our Group Trainer will deliver workshops to our apprenticeship learners on programme, ensuring the most effective and up-to-date approaches are implemented to prepare learners to successfully progress in their Health and Social Care qualification.
Salary Banding: £24,500
Location: Itec house, Cardiff
Contract type: Full time, permanent
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm
What are the core responsibilities of this role?
• Accountable for delivering our Health & Social Care workshops which engages, motivates, and upskills learners.
• Accountable for reminder communications to all leaners attending your sessions.
• Responsible for managing all fail to attend leaners for all workshop sessions.
• Responsible for updating each learners Smart Assessor file with the knowledge learnt from the workshop and ensuring progress has been made and closing the session accurately.
• Accountable for offering learners additional support if required.
• Responsible for offering additional support if any learner has an identified ALN.
• Attend regular standardisation sessions with your peers to share best practise and review current or new course content.
• Accountable for achieving learner feedback results at 90% good or above score on peer observations.
• Maintain knowledge and adherence to Work Based Learning Professional Standards, Education Workforce Code of Practice, and company’s Code of Conduct.

What skills and experience are we looking for from potential applicants?
Essential
• Relevant training experience and qualification(s)
• Experience of working within an Apprenticeship setting
• Occupational Experience / Knowledge and Technical competence in route ways delivery
• Full driving licence with use of own vehicle
Desirable
• PGCE / Relevant teacher/trainer qualification
• CAVA Unit Classroom based delivery.
• Level 5 practitioners Award
• TAQA qualification or equivalent qualification
• Qualified or with the potential and willingness to work towards
o ESW Communication Level 2/
o AON Level 2/ Digital Literacy Level 2
