The Governing Body of Lliswerry High School are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate to join our highly successful Maths Department. Lliswerry High School is a thriving, multi-cultural, 11-18 mixed comprehensive school on the eastern side of Newport close to the M4. We currently have a superb opportunity for a new team member to join us, working on a part time basis.

The successful candidate will teach across the age and ability range and will be a key part of our supportive and successful maths team. The ability to teach A Level is welcomed, but is not essential.
It is anticipated that the person appointed will:

• possess ambition, belief, resilience, determination and a sense of humour
• possess the ability to motivate and inspire learners and to build positive relationships
• have high expectations of themselves, colleagues and learners
• be committed to their own professional learning
• have the ability to develop excellent working relationships with all stakeholders
• be able to use data to support learner progress effectively
• be committed to the vision of our school
