Maternity Cover post – Full time until End Dec 2024

Position commences 11th March 2024

Lliswerry High School is a thriving, multi-cultural, 11-18 mixed comprehensive school on the eastern side of Newport close to the M4. We currently have a superb opportunity for a humanities teacher to join us, working on a full time basis covering maternity leave.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspirational teacher of humanities to make a positive difference to the lives and futures of our learners. We are looking for an experienced practitioner who will motivate and inspire our learners through their own passion for humanities. The successful candidate will teach Y7 to 9 mixed ability classes in line with the Curriculum for Wales. They will be a key part of our supportive and successful Humanities team.

It is anticipated that the person appointed will:
