Job Title: Facilities Technician (Caretaker)
Contract: Full time, permanent
Salary: £21,278 - £22,790 plus £2292 shift allowance
Location: Across Campuses
Cardiff and Vale College are looking for a Facilities Technician (Caretaker) based within our Estates department covering multiple campuses.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of a team in delivering the department's in-house facilities, general caretaking duties including general house-keeping, janitorial, locking and unlocking and other general security measures, driving and minor general repairs and maintenance.
The successful candidate will be punctual, willing to work shifts, reliable and trustworthy at all times and be able to undertake vigorous physical activity. They will have good communication skills with the ability to communicate appropriately with members of the public, students, staff and visitors.
In addition, Welsh language skills would be desirable but not essential for this post.
