Contract: Full Time, Fixed Term until July 2025

Salary: £21,278 - £22,790 pro rata

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HE Administrator within the Widening Participation department at Cardiff and Vale College. This role will be based across campuses.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assist in the enrolment of all students both at the college and with partner universities.
  • Support the maintenance of student records on the college EBS system and with university partners by updating personal details, processing change of circumstance forms and other data entry
  • Support HE Registrar to ensure all relevant teaching staff have Recognised Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Assist with collation of CVs and with placements in relation to University PgCE students undertaking a placement in the college.
  • Assist HE Registrar and Finance colleagues to ensure the college receives all HE income due from partner universities and other training organisations and all payments are recorded on EBS.
  • Service programme board and other HE Subcommittee meetings to include the collation of papers and minute taking.
  • Service Pearson HN Assessment Boards as required to include the collation of papers and minute taking.
  • Service HE validation panels to include minute taking and confirmation of outcome.
  • Assist with the maintenance of course information on the website and other marketing materials.
  • Welsh language skills would be desirable for this role.
The successful candidate will have a sound educational background with good literacy and numeracy skills. Also will have experience of using Student Records Systems within an Educational Environment.
