Cardiff and Vale College are looking for a Leadership and Management Development Coach within the CAVC for Business team based within our City Centre Campus but with the expectation to cover other campuses as and when needed.

Job Purpose - Leadership and Management Development Coach

Reporting to the Learning and Development Solutions Manager, the successful candidate will be a key member of the Learning and Development Solutions team and contribute to the continued growth and success of this area in delivering tailored programmes to employers. This role will drive the continued development of management and leadership through coaching and leadership development by focusing on capability, engagement and operational excellence across the range of leadership and management courses we deliver. This shall include delivering CAVC's open course programme and accredited and non-accredited courses. This role will combine high levels of learning and development expertise (specifically in the area of leadership and management development) with the conceptual ability to understand our clients' key strategic drivers and encapsulate tailored outcomes for them via effective learning solutions.

About CAVC for Business

CAVC for Business is a college department which includes a Business Development team and Learning and Development Solutions team. CAVC for Business is responsible for advancing the strategic positioning of the college with employers and industry partners, and for delivering high quality training. This includes the delivery of accredited qualifications (primarily Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)), bespoke courses, coaching and mentoring, facilitation, and L&D consultancy.

The successful applicant must hold an appropriate degree and ideally qualified to a high level. He/she must have experience of delivering training and/or hold an appropriate Training Qualification. Prior experience of working in a corporate learning and development function as well as supervisory/management experience is preferable'.

Welsh language skills are not essential but would be desirable for this role.
