Start Date: January 8th 2024

5 days per week, 33.50 hours per week, Term time only (including INSET days, Professional Learning on Tuesdays)

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm
Tuesday 8.30am – 4.30pm

The children, staff and Governors of High Cross Primary School are seeking to appoint an innovative and inspirational Level 2 Teaching Assistant who is an excellent practitioner. The successful candidate will be committed to teaching and learning of the highest standard, to further the success of our primary school and ensure the best opportunities are provided for all children.

The successful candidate will be required to work under the guidance of the class teacher to support on a whole class level as well as to support individual and small groups of pupils.

Experience of working with children with additional learning needs and training as Thrive practitioner is desirable.

The successful candidate must be calm, approachable and passionate about helping every child to achieve their full potential.

If successful, you can expect to work as part of a highly supportive and skilled team. You will have access to a bespoke package of support tailored to your individual needs and have the opportunity to work with colleagues in order to develop and refine your own practice.

The appointment process will involve completion of a task and an interview with the Headteacher and members of the School Leadership Team.
