Job Description
There are two part time temporary posts availablw on a fixed term basis until 31/03/2025.
A secondment will be considered for this post.
Pembrokeshire County Council are seeking to employ a teacher to join the workforce of the Language Centres and Welsh Education Service of the Local Authority to collaborate with primary and secondary Welsh medium schools to support pupils with the acquisition of Welsh. This is an exciting opportunity for continued professional learning within an innovative Immersive Education System for latecomers in Pembrokeshire. Appropriate training regarding effective immersion principles will be provided to the successful candidate.
Salary is paid in accordance with the Teacher Pay Scale according to experience and qualification. Secondments will be paid on their current salary.
The ability to teach effectively through the medium of English and Welsh is essential to the job. The schools operate in accordance with their Language Policy. The candidates will need to reach the linguistic level set out in the Person Specification.
