Team Leader- Restart
We have a fantastic opportunity for a new team leader to join our restart team!
If you have previous experience leading a team and working in a target driven environment, we would like to hear from you! As Team leader you would be expected to lead a team to achieve the contractual performance requirements of the restart contract. Continuously growing and transforming the operation to achieve against challenging targets. Working in partnership with the management team to deliver a seamless approach.
Salary Banding: £28,500 to £29,500
Location: Covering Barry and Cardiff
Contract type: Full time, Permanent
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 4:30pm
What are the core responsibilities of this role?
• Responsible for maximising sustainable job outcomes and participant satisfaction
• Accountable for working with Job Centre Plus to manage relationships/ referrals and attend networking meetings.
• Driving performance and continuously review the delivery model to maximise the best way of working and transform the operation.
• Accountable for contractual compliance through quality measures and auditable processes.
• Responsible for the smooth running and day to day operations of the centres and outreach delivery.
• To be fully conversant with our policies and procedures for the welfare, protection and safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
• Responsible for ensuring a positive participant service, dealing with complaints in an effective and timely fashion.
• Responsible for conducting monthly caseload reviews with Employability Advisors and Trainers
• To support the continual evaluation, self-assessment, and quality improvement planning.
• To support the leadership for and implementing appropriate and effective changes.
• To support the Area Manager with management information analysis and reporting.
• Accountable for the appropriate and effective application of all HR policies, procedures, and practices
• Line management responsibilities of direct reports.
• Maintain knowledge and adherence to Work Based Learning Professional Standards, Education Workforce Code of Practice, and company’s Code of Conduct.
What skills and experience are we looking for from potential applicants?
Essential
• Previous team leading experience
• Experience of working in a target driven environment
• Experience of working with unemployed Adults
• Full driving licence with use of own vehicle
• People Management
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to effectively manage resources.
• Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Desirable
• Work based learning experience.
• Management / Team Leading qualification or equivalent
• Knowledge of public funded training scheme.
This role is subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the company.
