Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Maternity Cover

Temporary Teaching Assistant Level 2 (part-time)
to commence 6 th November 2023 or as soon thereafter
12.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year)
PRIOR CONSIDERATION APPLICANTS WILL BE CONSIDERED
The Governors of Rhos Primary School wish to appoint an excellent and highly dedicated Temporary Teaching Assistant Level 2 to cover a maternity leave. You will join a skilled team of staff to work within a Nursery class. The main role of the post is to provide support to the pupils & class teacher.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about working with young children and able to support strategies aimed to maximise pupil progress, and well-being. You will need to be a good communicator who can work well collaboratively as part of a team. You must be caring, flexible and approachable to our pupils, staff and parents and be able to take responsibility. Ideally you would have prior experience of working with pupils with Additional Learning Needs. You would be joining a small primary school which serves our community, with a friendly and welcoming team of staff
The post is for 12.5 hours per week, term time commencing as stated above.
The successful candidate must be qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
