Deputy ICT Network Manager

Grade 5 (SCP 12-17) Salary £24496 - £26845 pro rata

Lliswerry High School is a thriving, multi-cultural, 11-18 mixed comprehensive school on the eastern side of Newport close to the M4. We currently have a superb opportunity for a talented, passionate individual to join our Support Team in delivering first class IT support to the whole school community.

Working with our ICT Network Manager the successful candidate will support a wide range of IT infrastructure including Networking, Asset Management, school wide security and third- party software support along with our onsite printing solutions and classroom learning delivery. The postholder will also be expected to assume management and expansion of the schools CCTV and site security network.

The successful candidate will be able to build superb relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and work quickly to identify and solve issues as they arise. Candidates must understand and work within current GDPR and Data Protection legislation as a key part of the role is supporting learners with password and security protection and helping to prepare for online examinations and assessments.

A flexible approach to work and hours may be required.
