We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join us as a Parenting Support Worker within our Inclusion Support Service. This is a fixed-term, maternity cover post that offers a unique chance to contribute to our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored parenting support to families referred by the police, helping them navigate challenges and barriers to learning and social engagement.
  • Collaborate with team members, colleagues, and school settings to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Deliver training events and contribute to the continuous development of our services.
  • Work within the Inclusion Support team to offer a wide range of support services to families with children/young people (aged 0 to 25) with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
  • Offer advice, information, 1:1 support, group work, and virtual assistance to families.
  • Advocate for improved communication and participation within schools and families, seeking early resolution of conflicts.
  • Contribute to the ALN transformation program, driving positive change in our community.
