Salary: £33,897 - £36,154 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Refrigeration and Air Con Assessor within the Work Based Learning department at Cardiff and Vale College. This role will be based at across campuses.

Responsibilities include:
  • To support candidates working towards their qualification
  • To assist in the delivery of underpinning knowledge through workshops or in the work place
  • To ensure candidates meet the standards required to achieve their qualifications as specified by the Awarding Organisation. This will be achieved by identifying valid, authentic, reliable, current and sufficient evidence to meet qualification standards and to judge appropriate evidence against national standards.
  • To ensure College targets for enrolment, attendance, retention, successful completion and learner satisfaction are met, in accordance with the College's key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • To work within the quality framework of the programme to ensure candidates successfully complete their qualifications within an appropriate time scale.
  • To assist in preparing for and responding to external verification (EV) visits.
  • To assist in preparing for and responding to external verification (EV) visits.
  • Welsh language skills would be desirable for this role.
