AAT Tutor
As an AAT Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the learning and development of our learners pursuing the AAT qualification. You will have the opportunity to impart your knowledge and expertise in accounting, finance, and related subjects while helping learners build the skills they need to succeed in their careers.

Salary Banding: £24,500 - £27,000 dependant on skills and experience
Location: Covering South Wales
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: 35 Hours a week, Monday to Friday 9.00am – 4.30pm
What are the core responsibilities of this role?
• Teaching: Deliver engaging and informative lessons in accounting, taxation, audit, and related AAT subjects to a diverse group of learners.
• Curriculum Development: Assist in the creation and updating of course materials, lesson plans, and assessments to ensure they align with AAT curriculum standards.
• Learner Support: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to learners to help them excel in their studies, pass exams, and achieve their AAT qualification.
• Assessment and Feedback: Administer assessments, evaluate learner performance, and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their growth and development.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, manage class schedules, and ensure adherence to academic policies.
• Stay Informed: Keep abreast of industry trends, changes in AAT qualifications, and accounting regulations to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and up to date.
What skills and experience are we looking for from potential applicants?
• AAT Professional qualification or higher.
• A1 Assessor Award (D32).
• Teaching or tutoring experience, preferably in accounting or finance.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
• Dedication to student success and a passion for education.
Desirable
• City & Guilds 9300 Level 2 in supporting Adults and Young People in Essential Skills
• L3 Essential Skills Practitioner Certificate
• Welsh Speaker
