Business Assurance Coordinator
At Itec we are looking to recruit and enthusiastic candidates with a keen eye for detail to be responsible for providing assurance to effectively process the procedures in place and are compliant with contractual, legislative, professional quality and audit standards.
Salary Banding: £26,000 to £28,000
Base: Itec House
Contract type: Full time, permanent
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm

What are the core responsibilities of this role?

• Ensuring provision is delivered in compliance with contractual, legislative, and regulatory requirements.
• completing routine assurance checks in line with company policy, procedures and contractual standards
• Responsible for managing the delivery observation process and conducting observations of delivery staff ensuring alignment with overall Quality strategy and consistency of provision.
• Advising of and communicating change in practices, ensuring the continuous improvement through the provision of guidance, coaching and mentoring.
• Responsible for contributing to the development of tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality and compliance to company policies and procedures
• Supporting the development and implementation of new policies/ procedures to ensure that standards are current and fully achieved
• Providing advice and guidance to business areas to support the achievement of compliance and performance of the business function.
• Plan and assisting internal inspections and annual self-assessment processes.
• supporting the monitoring and review of progress reports from feedback, inspections, internal and external quality monitoring activities.
• Accountable for maintaining own personal development in relation to training and the industry
• Work in partnership with business teams to implement continuous improvement projects. Ensuring activities are tracked and impact assessed.


What skills and experience are we looking for from potential applicants?

Essential

• Experience of public funded training
• Previous experience in working with compliance and quality systems in work-based learning or welfare to work settings
• Full driving licence with use of own vehicle
• Literacy, Numeracy and Digital skills at least at Level 2 or equivalent
• Planning and organising
• Logical and systematic thinking
Desirable

• Experience of databases, e-portfolio systems, customer management systems
• Ability to speak Welsh
