The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a qualified, experienced, talented and highly motivated lecturer of Fine Art to join our Creative Arts Learning Area.
  • Part-time (18.5 hours per week)
  • Permanent
  • £11,290.50 - £22,221.00 per annum (depending on qualification and/or experience)
  • Gorseinon campus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and assess on variety of Art and Design related pathways and the Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate.
  • Deliver high quality teaching and learning, effectively monitor and track learner progress, creating a positive environment to enable all learners to reach their full potential in terms of academic, social and personal development
  • Applicants will have a commitment to continuous improvement, will contribute effectively to curriculum development, extracurricular activity and assist with the planning and marketing of courses.

About you:

  • Possess relevant Degree in Art and Design or related degree.
  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to work towards this qualification
  • The ability to effectively deliver and assess on all curriculum identified.
  • Be prepared to work flexibly to meet needs of the curriculum.
  • Be enthusiastic and inspirational in taking these subjects forward within the college curriculum offering.
