Learning underpins everything we do here at Croesyceiliog school. When teachers are absent we are committed in ensuring that learning remains continuous and fluid. We are making changes to our policies for 'cover' making a move to delivering high quality learning of skills and core curriculum where ever possible.
We have two vacancies for Learning Co-Ordinators to work as part of our busy and dedicated team at Croesyceiliog School.
Ensuring that learning continues to a high standard in the absence of a teacher requires the ability to maintain good order and keep pupils on task, support student's learning, and to set a good example in terms of personal presentation, attendance, punctuality and inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
The role of the Learning Co-Ordinator is vitally important to staff and pupils and the successful post holder will be someone who can be trusted to provide stability, structure and support.
The successful candidates will be HLTA qualified and have good organisational skills. They will be expected to prepare learning activities for classes which will support the schools drive for skills and achievement. They will work alongside colleagues to effectively communicate expectations of learners to ensure that learning is not lost in the absence of a teacher.
The successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate efficiently with staff and pupils. This role would be an excellent opportunity for those considering teaching as a vocation or wanting to develop their skills as a higher-level TA. The learning coordinators will be entitled to the high-quality professional learning offered at the school.
