Gwaunmeisgyn Primary School is a successful school serving the community of Beddau within RCT. The school is within easy travelling distance from Cardiff and the valleys and has an excellent reputation for providing high quality education for all pupils. The school caters for pupils aged 3 to 11 with 350 pupils on roll.

The Governing body at Gwaunmeisgyn Primary School wishes to appoint an outstanding and inspirational teacher on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will need to be able to show evidence that they possess the skills and attributes to inspire pupils and ensure outstanding outcomes. Furthermore, the successful applicant will be reflective and keen to continually improve their own practice in order to enable every child to be the best that they can be and demonstrate the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues.

We are looking for a committed, talented and inspirational teacher who:
• Has a proven record of good or outstanding classroom practice
• Has high expectations for all pupils in their care
• Is able to inspire, motivate and engage all pupils
• Has a strong understanding of assessment and can use this to inform teaching
• Is an excellent team player and role model for the whole school community
• Is flexible, proactive and reflective in their practice
• Desires to participate in the full life of the school including engaging in professional learning
activities and extra-curricular clubs
