Brynhyfryd Primary school is a thriving, happy, welcoming and inclusive school in the Brynhyfryd area of Swansea. We are seeking to appoint a part-time Teaching Assistant with British Sign Language Level 2/3 to join our team in the nursery class as soon as possible to provide 1:1 support for one of our Nursery pupils.

We are seeking a BSL communicator who:

• Is able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Has excellent communication skills and is committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
• Has experience of working in schools and in delivering high quality teaching and learning.
• Is committed to building on the school's success in teaching BSL to all learners.
• Can enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning.
• Is committed to high standards and is willing to help develop high quality learning experiences.
• Will be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community.
• Is able to work in a nurturing way to get the best out of every child.
• Has experience of working with children with a range of additional learning needs.
