Are you ready to inspire the next generation of learners?
The children, staff, and Governing Body of Monnow Primary School are seeking an inspirational, forward-thinking practitioner with proven expertise in teaching across the primary phase to join our Strategic Leadership Team as Progression Step 3 Leader of Learning. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to lead and shape learning for upper KS2, ensuring outstanding experiences for all pupils in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
What we’re looking for:
• An excellent role model who can lead, motivate, and support a dedicated team.
• A leader with a deep understanding of effective teaching and learning across the primary phase, with a particular passion for Progression Step 3 development.
• Expertise in Digital Learning, with the ability to drive innovation and embed digital competence across the curriculum.
• Someone who is creative and nurturing, committed to inclusion and pupil voice.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and the wider community.
• A proactive team player who will develop transition into Year 6 and strengthen partnerships with our cluster high school to ensure smooth progression into KS3.
• A leader who will inspire memorable, enriching learning experiences and support school improvement through effective self-evaluation processes.
