• supporting robust evaluation within a self-improving system.

We are now seeking to recruit a highly successful professional to join our committed team of school improvement advisers. Candidates should be a headteacher/senior leader from successful schools and/or have recent demonstrable success as an education improvement professional.

The successful candidate will fulfil the role of school improvement adviser for schools in Swansea and will work closely with wider teams in across local authorities to:

• contribute to Swansea Council's support to school leaders and governing bodies, and
• work effectively with Partneriaeth and other key delivery partners in developing support for professional learning, including leadership development and ongoing curriculum review

The post will commence on 1 January 2026 (or as soon as possible) and is a permanent post.
