The Governors of St Julian's Primary are seeking to appoint an exceptional and highly-motivated teacher of primary aged children. The appointment will be for a fixed term contract from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2026.
The successful candidate will:
- be a creative and inspirational practitioner with a commitment to high standards;
- have the ability to provide exciting, creative, challenging and empowering learning opportunities;
- be an excellent role model for children and colleagues;
- have a good understanding of a skills based experiential curriculum with an emphasis on literacy and numeracy skills;
- have excellent teaching, organisational and communication skills;
- have the ability to inspire a love of learning in children;
- work effectively and creatively as part of a team;
- have the ability to build good relationships with children, parents, governors and the wider community;
- contribute effectively and enthusiastically to the wider life of the school.
The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team and a selection of Governors. The Governing Body and Local Authority are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
