16.25 HOURS PER WEEK
Monnow primary school is looking to appoint a nursery teacher to join their friendly and vibrant team. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about making a difference for our youngest children as they embark on their school journey. The permanent post is offered on a part -time basis starting on 1st September 2025.
We are looking for a committed professional who:
- will be an exceptional teacher within a Nursery setting, with the ability to promote our school vision of Cynefin, Curiosty and Courage
- is a creative and inspirational Early Years practitioner with a commitment to meeting the needs of each and every child in our nursery.
- will be an excellent role model and effective at leading, motivating and supporting the nursery team to secure consistency and the highest standards for all
- has in in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Education, especially developing provision which supports children’s schema and the Froebelian and Curiosity principles
- is highly effective in using observations to support assessment whilst empowering the nursery as co-constructors
- is able to work effectively with all stakeholders and has the ability to contribute to the development and improvement of the school, as well as the wider school and community, as a whole.
- is ready for a new challenge in our expanding, inclusive, happy, vibrant and forward-thinking Primary school
