Itec Training Solutions have the ideal opportunity for you! We are looking to recruit a hardworking and motivated individual to join the department to successful lead a team to achieve the requirements of our contracts. The team leader would working alongside the management team to ensure a seamless approach to provide our participants with exceptional customer service and positive and sustainable job outcomes.
Salary Banding: £26,000 to £30,160
Base: Cardiff/ Newport/ Cwmbran/ Monmouth and Abergavenny.
Contract type: Full time, Permanent
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm


What are the core responsibilities of this role?
• To manage a team to maximise sustainable job outcomes and participant satisfaction. Ensuring the provision is participant centred, holistic, joined up, with early interventions and services.
• Accountable for working with Job Centre Plus to manage relationships/ referrals and attend networking meetings.
• To drive performance in conjunction with the management team,
• Accountable for contractual compliance through quality measures and auditable processes.
• Responsible for the smooth running and day to day operations of the centres and outreach delivery and promoting and managing the safeguarding of participants.
• Responsible for conducting monthly caseload reviews with Employability Advisors and Trainers to maximise performance and training requirements.
• Assisting in the development of the strategic planning for all operational activities.
• To support the continual evaluation, self-assessment, and quality improvement planning.
• To support the Area Manager with management information analysis and reporting.
• Accountable for ensuring high quality standards are always maintained at the centres/ outreach and drive continuous improvement initiatives.


What skills and experience are we looking for from potential applicants?

Essential

• Previous team leading experience
• Experience of working in a target driven environment
• Experience of working with unemployed
• People Management Excellent
• communication and interpersonal skills
• Full driving licence with use of own vehicle


Desirable
• Work based learning experience
• Management / Team Leading qualification or equivalent
• Knowledge of public funded training schemes
• Ability to speak Welsh

This role is subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the company.
