About The ServiceBryn y Deryn is a KS4 Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) for 90 learners who have behavioural, emotional and social needs and a centre for those that have Mental Health and Social needs.
Bryn y Deryn has an excellent reputation and works tirelessly to improve the achieving and wellbeing of learners.
The PRU is moving to Lawrenny Avenue, Leckwith and the post will be based there.
About the job
To teach GCSE Maths (including Entry Level), and to deliver other associated duties (e.g. Skills, PSE, wellbeing) including a pastoral role as are reasonably assigned by the Head of Centre .
What We Are Looking For From You
We are looking for a dedicated, resilient and talented teacher who will work as part of our team. They should have previous experience of working with learners with very challenging behaviour and or mental health problems and be able to empathise with learners' difficulties.
This is an opportunity for persons with empathy, energy, commitment and enthusiasm to make a positive impact to the school and the lives of young people.

Grade: Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (£32,433 - £49,944 per annum) + ALN Allowance (£2,728 - £5,379 per annum)
